Don't Let Allergies Kick Your Butt Instead.......Alkalize
In order to understand how common baking soda works to stop the allergic response, we must first understand acidity and alkalinity of the body. The more the body is acidic, the more we are susceptible to illness and health problems. In fact, if you keep your body in an alkaline state, you will rarely get sick….And the BIG “C” (Cancer) cannot exist within you. Research studies have proven this.
The best way to move your body into a more alkaline state is to eat lots of whole grains, vegetables and fruits, beans, fish, nuts and seeds, and cold-water fish. The common American diet is prolifically acidic in nature….Thus all the money we Americans spend every year on health problems is no surprise.
Allergies are a response triggered by large cells found in the connective tissue (particularly in the linings of the nose and lungs as well as the skin and gastrointestinal tract) called “mast cells”. When an allergen presents itself these mast cells react – releasing histamines and other chemicals to initiate an allergic reaction – it is the body’s response to heal from the effects of the allergen.
The specific symptoms you experience depends on where the histamines are released. If they are released in the nose, you will experience sneezing and runny eyes. If released in the chest, asthmatic symptoms will appear. If released in the intestines, you will experience diarrhea.
No matter where the histamines are released, the severity of these symptoms depends on how acidic the body is at the time. Unfortunately many people underestimate the role acidity plays in the reaction to allergens. It is advised to avoid the sensitizing agents as much as possible but when you come in contact with one, you should begin aggressive alkalizing – positive results are often experienced very quickly.
To begin to alkalize your body rapidly use the following:
½ teaspoon baking soda 4 ounces of water Drink every 2 hours until symptoms subside. Decrease to two to four times a day until the condition has been resolved for at least two days.
You can also fend off allergies with yogurt. Researchers found that people who eat yogurt that contains L. acidophilus and other bacterial cultures at least once a day suffered less from hay fever than those who don't eat yogurt. It’s best to use a soy- based yogurt rather than one from cow’s milk. If you can’t imagine eating either one, you can take a good Probiotic that contains at least 500 million viable organisms.
